Staples Canada, the largest office supply chain in Canada, transitioned to The Working and Learning Company in 2019, delivering value far beyond products and into resources, services and experiences. geekspeak Commerce was an integral part of this brand refresh, optimizing thousands of product descriptions, creating product and category buying guides, crafting engaging Help Centre articles and more.
In 2022, Staples sought additional support to enhance their product listings with 3D images. And in 2024, they aimed to captivate back-to-school shoppers by creating an engaging experience for children aged 6-11, encouraging them to spend more time in the store while their parents shopped.

Whether product descriptions, buying guides, help articles, 3D images or recaps of Staples’ Spotlight Speakers, the content we’ve created throughout our partnership has been crafted to deliver outstanding value to shoppers. French translation is a critical component in the e-commerce content creation process. Our team of native French Canadian speakers have crafted high-quality, accurate and consistent translations for a variety of content types across the Staples Canada website.
For the back-to-school campaign, we created a “Backpack Challenge” that involved a unique Augmented Reality (AR) experience. The engaging campaign transformed Staples stores into an interactive playground for children aged 6 to 11.
